FTV News is the news service of Formosa Television, one of Taiwan's national networks. The channel is also known for the space it gives to Taiwanese (Hokkien) broadcasting — the media expression of the island's argument about language and identity.
Domestic politics, elections and relations with China feature in its agenda.
