Athens Metro Line 3 Stations Close Early Due to Track Works
Three central Athens metro stations will close early from Monday to Thursday due to ongoing track replacement work.

Temporary evening traffic adjustments take effect on Athens Metro Line 3 due to rail replacement works. The stations of Elaionas, Kerameikos, and Monastiraki will close daily at 21:40, which is two and a half hours earlier than normal.
The restrictions will apply for four days, starting Monday, September 7, and running through Thursday, September 10. During these hours, train traffic on Line 3 will operate in two separate sections: between Dimotiko Theatro and Egaleo, and between Syntagma, Doukissis Plakentias, and the Airport.
Train schedules connecting to the airport are also affected by the maintenance work. The last train from Dimotiko Theatro to the Airport departs at 21:06, while the final departure from the Airport to Dimotiko Theatro is at 21:10.
After 21:40, Syntagma station will serve as the starting point for trains heading to the Airport. Trains arriving from the Airport will terminate their journeys at Syntagma station during the evening work hours.
