Erzincan University Welcomes New Students with Orientation and Breakfast

Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University (EBYÜ) organized a series of events on September 30 to help newly registered students adapt to campus life. An Inter-Unit Orientation Program took place at the Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Büyükkasap Congress and Culture Center, where units including International Relations, Health Culture and Sports, Student Affairs, Library, and IT briefed students on academic and administrative services.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ufuk Kuyrukluyıldız, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Adem Başıbüyük and Prof. Dr. Erhan Zeytun, and academic staff attended the orientation. Rector Kuyrukluyıldız emphasized the importance of academic and social adaptation and urged students to use university facilities effectively.

“We want our students to benefit effectively from the opportunities our university offers.”

Later, a "Welcome Breakfast" was held at the Yalnızbağ Campus Social Facilities. Governor Doç. Dr. Hamza Aydoğdu, MP Süleyman Karaman, former Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent, and protocol members joined the event. Local products such as Cimin grapes, tulum cheese, and kete were served to promote regional culture.

Rector Kuyrukluyıldız highlighted the university's student-centered approach and encouraged participation in clubs and social activities. Governor Aydoğdu told students to feel at home in Erzincan, while MP Karaman stressed they are not alone in the city.

Turkish States Organization Elders Council Chairman Binali Yıldırım participated via video conference to congratulate students on the new academic year. The events concluded with protocol visits to student stands and a group photo.
