Esperanza Aguirre urges repealing the immigration law to return migrants

Former Madrid regional president Esperanza Aguirre stated that the government should heed Morocco to resolve the crisis in Ceuta. According to Aguirre, Morocco is willing to accept all returning migrants if necessary changes are made.

The conservative politician demanded the repeal of the current immigration law to facilitate the return process. She argued that removing these bureaucratic procedures is essential for managing the situation effectively.

“Lo único que tiene que hacer el Gobierno para solucionar la crisis en Ceuta es hacer caso a Marruecos.”

Aguirre warned that failing to remove these administrative hurdles could lead to political consequences similar to Saxony. She suggested that inaction might pave the way for the extreme right to win power.
