Fenerbahce Thrash Eyupspor 8-0 in Super Lig Rout

Fenerbahce crushed Eyupspor 8-0 at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in the sixth week of the Trendyol Super Lig on September 20. The home side led 5-0 at half-time and added three more goals after the break to secure their first league win in three matches.

Vedat Muriqi netted four times, scoring in the 7th, 21st, 47th and 55th minutes. Mason Greenwood contributed a brace, converting a 5th-minute penalty and adding an 80th-minute strike, while Matteo Guendouzi and Irfan Can Kahveci also found the net.

Marco Asensio returned to the matchday squad after a month-long injury layoff but remained an unused substitute. Mert Muldur missed the fixture entirely after picking up a knock in the final training session.

Eyupspor, who entered the game 17th with just three points, suffered their heaviest defeat of the campaign. Goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan was replaced at half-time by Emre Bilgin as the visitors conceded eight times.

The result lifts Fenerbahce up the table ahead of the international break, ending a run of two draws and a loss in their previous three official matches. Coach Ismail Kartal used all five substitutes, introducing Ismail Yuksek, Oguz Aydin, Kojo Oppong, Levent Mercan and Romelu Lukaku.
