PFDK Fines Amedspor 2.5M TL; Besnik Hasi Banned One Match

The Turkish Football Federation's Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) fined Amedspor 2,542,500 Turkish lira for multiple infractions during their September 20 match against Besiktas. The penalties cover irregular spectator admission, pitch incidents, an irrigation-system failure that halted play for 20 seconds, sealed plastic bottles brought into the stadium, repeated stairwell gaps, and collective unsporting conduct.

Head coach Besnik Hasi received a one-match touchline ban and a 100,000 lira fine for unsporting behavior toward the referee. Club president Nahit Eren was referred for statements allegedly damaging football's reputation, but the board ruled no punishment was warranted.

E-tickets for specific blocks in the West Lower (109-111) and South Lower (122-125) stands have been blocked; those supporters cannot attend Amedspor's next home game.

Kars-based businessman Sezgin Baran Korkmaz announced on social media he will transfer the full amount of the fines to the club by Friday, urging the team not to lose motivation. Korkmaz previously pledged 5 million lira after Amedspor's win over Erzurumspor in August.

The same PFDK session sanctioned other clubs: Besiktas 755,000 lira, Trabzonspor 560,000 lira, and Galatasaray 350,000 lira. Trabzonspor midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu was banned for two matches for serious foul play, while Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk received a one-match ban and 100,000 lira fine for conduct toward a referee.
