Racing beats Boca 1-0 with Lodico Olympic goal in Copa Argentina

Racing defeated Boca Juniors 1-0 in the Copa Argentina quarter-finals at the Gigante de Arroyito in Rosario. Midfielder Gastón Lodico scored the only goal directly from a corner kick in the 18th minute of the first half.

Boca controlled possession for large spells and created several chances, notably a long-range effort from Leonel Flores that forced a flying save from Racing goalkeeper Facundo Cambeses. Racing absorbed pressure and threatened on the counter-attack.
