Roblox Widow Alleges $6M Fraud by Male Escort

Marianne Flippo, widow of early Roblox programmer Chad Flippo, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on September 14 alleging that male escort Greggory Blaine Starr defrauded her of nearly $6 million. She met Starr through the agency Cowboys 4 Angels in December 2024 while grieving her husband's suicide and managing a rare genetic disorder.

According to court documents, Starr and agency employees pressured Flippo to sign a $10 million "Exit Agreement" during a February 2026 trip after plying her with alcohol despite her medications. She attempted to wire the funds twice, but JPMorgan Chase and Westpac independently flagged the transactions as suspected fraud.

Starr then directed her to open a joint Charles Schwab account, into which she transferred $5.95 million. Bank records show he moved $5.7 million into his sole account within weeks, leaving a balance of $12.61 by late June. Flippo's attorney, Larry Hutcher, says the suit is the only way to restore her dignity.

Starr, a West Point graduate and Army veteran, told The Independent he was unaware of the lawsuit and ended the call abruptly. The complaint describes Flippo as suffering from "Stockholm syndrome" and under "Svengali-like control" during the alleged scheme.
