Spain faces the Czech Republic on Saturday at 20:45 local time in Oviedo's Carlos Tartiere stadium for the third matchday of UEFA Nations League Group A3. The match will be broadcast free-to-air on La 1 and streamed on RTVE Play in Spain, while ESPN and Disney+ carry it across Latin America.
Luis de la Fuente's side arrives after consecutive victories over England at Wembley and a 4-1 rout of Croatia in Seville, extending an unbeaten run to 40 matches. Lamine Yamal scored twice against Croatia and remains a key attacking threat alongside Mikel Oyarzabal and Ferran Torres.
The Czech team, coached by former Spain youth coach Santi Denia, has lost its first two group matches and sits bottom of the section. A Spanish win would strengthen their position ahead of Tuesday's trip to Split to face Croatia.
UEFA revised the promotion and relegation format on September 15: the top two in each group advance to the quarter-finals, the best two third-placed teams stay in League A, and only the two worst fourth-placed sides drop directly.
Spain last played in Oviedo in September 2015, beating Slovakia 2-0 in Euro 2016 qualifying. Since then, La Roja has won a Nations League, a European Championship, and a World Cup, returning now with a second star on the crest.
