Trump Defends Iran War, Threatens Annihilation at UN

President Donald Trump addressed the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, defending the war he launched against Iran on February 28 and warning he could "annihilate the Islamic Republic" if a nuclear deal is not reached. He framed the conflict as a necessary confrontation with a regime he called the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.

Trump devoted roughly ten minutes to domestic achievements, citing record stock markets, tax cuts, a secure border, and falling crime rates. He claimed zero illegal migrants had entered the US in the past 16 months. Delegates listened in near silence, offering only polite applause for the pledge to prevent an Iranian nuclear weapon.
