South China Morning Post
Hong Kong · English · Not on air right now
The South China Morning Post was founded in 1903 and is Hong Kong's long-established English-language newspaper. For more than a century it has been one of the principal sources explaining China to the English-reading world, and the city's role as an international financial centre has given its business coverage particular depth.
The paper was acquired by Alibaba Group in 2016, a change of ownership that opened international debate about its editorial independence and a fact readers should hold.
Its video service produces documentaries, explanatory content and event-driven live coverage.
Streams are shown from each broadcaster's own official YouTube channel through the YouTube player; the content and all rights belong to those broadcasters. Montegre does not broadcast or retransmit. Live news coverage may contain distressing footage.
