Suspilne Novyny

Suspilne is Ukraine's public broadcaster. It was created in 2017 by restructuring the state television inherited from the Soviet period; its governance was designed to be independent of government and the organisation joined the European Broadcasting Union. The transformation is one of Eastern Europe's examples of the move from state to public service broadcasting.
