A massive cyber attack on parts of the Berlin administration has led to the publication of about 1.44 million files on the darknet. The leaked data amounts to 5.8 terabytes and was released starting Friday.
Initially, officials believed only personal data like passports and employment contracts were affected. However, IT experts warn that highly sensitive information relevant to critical infrastructure and national security might also be compromised.
