TRT Haber

TRT Haber is the news channel of Türkiye's public broadcaster, TRT, and went on air in 2010. Public service broadcasting brings with it the widest correspondent network in the country: TRT maintains bureaus down to provincial level at home and a large number of foreign offices, so the channel is strongest on regional reporting and on first-hand coverage of developments originating with official institutions. Its ability to switch to uninterrupted live coverage for ministerial statements, parliamentary sessions, state visits and natural disasters is a defining feature.

As part of TRT's corporate structure the channel is publicly funded and operates within the responsibility framework of a state institution. It broadcasts in Turkish; other channels under the TRT umbrella publish in many languages including Kurdish, Arabic and English. The YouTube live feed carries the television output unchanged.
