CNN Türk

CNN Türk was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between Turkey's Doğan Group and the American network CNN, one of the first cases in the country of an international news brand entering the market through a local partnership. The channel still licenses the CNN brand; its content and editorial management belong to its Turkish owner. It changed hands in 2018 when Doğan Media was sold to Demirören Holding, and it broadcasts today as part of Demirören Media.

Its identity is built on long studio-anchored live programming and on hours of uninterrupted coverage for election nights, earthquakes and major accidents. It carries a dedicated slot for business and market news. The YouTube channel publishes both the live feed and individual programme clips.
