A fatal collapse occurred during excavation work for a water line in Elazığ's Ağın district. The incident took place in Bademli village during underground water source and pipeline operations.

During the excavation, a cave-in happened for reasons not yet determined. Fifty-year-old worker O.K. remained trapped beneath the soil.

According to Habertürk, the excavation was being carried out using construction machinery, and the victim was identified as Osman Koç.

Emergency medical, AFAD, and gendarmerie teams arrived at the scene following the notification. Habertürk additionally notes that fire department units also joined the response.

Rescuers recovered the worker from the soil, but medical determinations confirmed he had lost his life. Authorities launched an ongoing investigation into the accident.

Habertürk reports that the body of Osman Koç was transferred to the Fırat University Hospital morgue for an autopsy after initial inspections.
