Grand Reims signs innovation charter with 19 partners to boost attractiveness by 2032
Local leaders and innovation actors launch a shared strategy to make the Reims metropolitan area a French innovation reference.

Nineteen actors from the Grand Reims innovation ecosystem signed a charter on September 6 at the Châlons-en-Champagne Fair, committing to a joint strategy aimed at turning the metropolitan area into a national innovation benchmark by 2032.
Grand Reims president Arnaud Robinet, Grand Est regional councilor Véronique Marchet, and Innovact director Charles de Bohan presided over the signing. The charter marks a first step toward a co-constructed innovation strategy due by year-end.

The framework rests on five strategic axes defined during the earlier Assises de l'Innovation. The first axis focuses on raising the territory's profile, with de Bohan noting that many in Paris remain unaware Reims sits just 45 minutes away by high-speed train.
Signatories will now work together to translate the five axes into concrete actions covering development, attractiveness, and regional influence.
